Biomedica spol. s r.o. informs all employees and other parties about receiving and protecting whistleblowers
Biomedica spol. s.r.o. perceives compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards as an integral part of its corporate culture. We believe that fair dealing with our colleagues, business partners, suppliers, our customers and the public is the basis for sustainable business success.
Our goal is to prevent violations of mandatory legislation. Therefore, we encourage anyone who performs dependent work for Biomedica spol. s.r.o. in a basic employment relationship, volunteer work or professional practice or internship to notify us of any violation of which they are aware or reasonably suspect:
- has the elements of a crime;
- has the characteristics of an offence for which the law provides for a fine of at least CZK 100,000; or
- violates other provisions defined in Act No. (zákon č.) 171/2023 Sb., on the protection of whistleblowers, as amended (the “zákon o ochraně oznamovatelů”).
For whistleblowers applies:
- Any notification will be treated as strictly confidential.
- The identity of the notifier will be protected from disclosure.
- All information and data provided will be objectively and carefully evaluated.
- Information enabling the notifier to be identified must be provided.
- Anyone who, in good faith, reports a possible breach of mandatory legislation will be protected from any form of disadvantage, discrimination or reprisal. The whistleblower is not entitled to this protection if a knowingly false report has been made.

The relevant person will ensure that the notification is treated with appropriate confidentiality and dealt with in accordance with the law.
